Things to Do at South Bank Brisbane: Culture, Food and the Beach
South Bank Parklands sits just across the river from Brisbane's CBD and packs an extraordinary amount into a single precinct. Streets Beach, the only inner-city beach in Australia, is a centrepiece in summer and winter alike. The cultural corridor along the riverbank includes QPAC, GOMA, the Queensland Museum and the Maritime Museum, with cafes and restaurants running the length of the park. Entry to the parklands is free and the area is easily reached by CityCat, train or bus.
